Here the founding Fathers knew that we are susceptible to this weakness. Why ? , because we are to busy living life , taking care of our children, plowing our fields , attending our jobs , in other words going about our business, AND WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME, AND THE KNOWLEDGE TO FIGHT WITH THE PEOPLE WE HIRE. Yet our business should be to get involved with who is running our country. We are willing to suffer, and those in power know this, and they push us to our limits, and when we complain they reprimand us as if we were children. We of course tuck tail and run back to our suffering. Yet the Founding Fathers in their wisdom understood that a Nation could not survive without its people. They knew that Government could not survive by itself. It needs our blood ,sweat, and tears.That's why they added the BUT!; But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government and to provide new Guards for their security.------- Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies.
