The Patriot Caucus

Is everyone motivated to work to elect a new conservative governor for Ohio in 2010?? I think this is a very important goal. We need a republican governor so Obama can not continue to push Acorn abuse on this state. I know Jennifer Brunner is the real problem, but we need some representation. Obama knows Ohio will be important in 2012, and he'll push hard to rig the election. We need to be prepared. Hope all Ohioans
are on board.

I've already signed up to work on the Rob Portman campaign. He announced a few weeks ago.
We've got to prepare for ACORN, but I'm not sure how...

Who is Rob Portman?? I'm not even sure how the candidate for governor is picked, but I'm going to find out, and I'm going to be active. I've had enough of the hijacking of our country by the liberals.

Sorry...I wasn't thinking straight...Portman is running for Senate:

I think John Kacich has said he's interested. He's a former congressman, I think. And a commentator on Fox news.

If John Kasich would run for governor, that would be great!! I see him on Fox, very smart, conservative, and articulate. I think we could all get behind him. Voinovich is not running again, and he's up in 2010. We need to keep that seat. Where is Portman from??

John Kasich would be a great choice.

I joined the Rob Portman campaign too. I got an email that said he is doing very well at fundraising. This is a sure sign of the times, conseratives are fed up and not going to take it anymore.

I have been a supporter of Rob Portman for a long time, and can confirm that he is a true conservative to the core. He consistently speaks and acts conservative because he IS conservative. He currently is a small business owner in a family that has been involved in small business for generations. He is a pro family, pro growth, pro business, lower tax, less regulation, small government conservative.

His extensive resume, conservative beliefs, and his integrity will make him an immediate leader in the Senate. ....and a HUGE upgrade from the RINO George Voinovich.

Strickland is a 'Progressive' liberal in the mold of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi.

John Kasich has been reliably conservative on most issues for a long time.
The following link will give a brief overview of John Kasich's record and views.

Hi guys I think it is important to find one whom is conservative and not just republican. I know as for myself I am registered republican but have made the decision to not vote just because the individual has an (R) next to his name.
The party is polluted with progressives and you just maybe voting in another Strickland "lite".

I so agree with you. We need to really check the candidates out and make sure they stand on all issues. National and state security, constitution, guns, ect.
