The Patriot Caucus of Georgia

Welcome Georgia Patriots!

The Georgia Patriot Caucus is currently focused on the Georgia-12 race. We were one of the first national political action committees to endorse Ray McKinney for the seat, and his win in the primary election is a big win for our group as well.

We believe Ray McKinney will make it through his run-off race on August 10, and will continue on in the general election to face incumbent Democrat John Barrow.

The Patriot Caucus will work with the promotion of other races across Georgia as well, but this particular race will be our main focus for the 2010 election cycle.

HR 1086 - Protecting Georgians from Federal Healthcare Control

Good news! HR 1086 passed yesterday's motion to recommit!

Now, the next step is to get it on the House schedule Friday. We need to keep calling Thursday and Friday. The bill is not dead. There are only 2 places to get the status of this bill. At the link below and via email from yours truly. We need to add these two gentlemen to the TOP OF OUR LIST, they oversee if this bill gets to the floor Friday:

*Jimmy Pruett - REPUBLICAN - District 144 - Eastman jimmy.pruett@house.ga.gov PH: 404.651.7737 Secretary: Sharon Wilder
http://www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/2009_10/house/bios/pruettJimmy/pruettJimmy.htm

*Carl Rogers - REPUBLICAN - District 26 - Gainesville carl.rogers@house.ga.gov PH: 404.463.2247 Secretary: Lori McManus
http://www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/2009_10/house/bios/rogersCarl/rogersCarl.htm

If they have a star-hit them hard since they are most likely to vote YES to protect GA from federal control.

Alpharetta 912 Project members and guests are invited to hear Doug MacGinnitie, candidate for GA Secretary of State, and Gerry Purcell, candidate for GA Insurance Commissioner speak to our group at noon March 13 Harp Irish Pub meeting room Holcomb Bridge Rd. Roswell.

Doug MacGinnitie supports We the People of GA with a plan to improve military and overseas voting, create an environment that is welcoming to small and new businesses, and specific plans to protect the integrity of elections in our state.

Gerry Purcell is already a nationally known healthcare reformer and the leader among his opponents in the primary with a platform designed to mitigate cost control as a barrier to patient care, champion the elimination of mandates that add 20-50% to our health care costs, and promote cost transparency.

As a group having origins as fans of Glenn Beck, we value "fire in the belly" traits in our principled candidates. What a great way to celebrate the 1 yr anniversary of the 912 Project! Bring a friend!

i like Sarah Palin too. However, i don't think she is most qualified person for the jobs people want her to do.
Natalie Dominguez Comment by Natalie Dominguez on March 5, 2010 at 9:41am
I am concerned about Palin. If she were a true "Common Sense Conservative" why is she backing John McCain? Its same old same old, when it comes down to it, their values take a back seat to thier career agenda.

NO THIRD PARTY!

We don't need to create a new "Third Party"...

We just need to replace these corrupt "career" politicians in the Democratic and Republican Parties who have sold our country out to multi-national corporations, special interest groups, and political action committees!

These crooks, liars, and traitors who call themselves "Moderates", or "Progressives", or "Rockefeller Republicans" WANT the Tea Party Movement to break off into a Third Party so that THEY will continue to keep control of their respective Party.

We will NOT let that continue!

Saw Glenn Beck on Leno last night and he did very well. The crowd loved him which surprised me. Noticed that Kevin Eubanks (the music man) had on a hat with OBAMA in huge letters on it. If he knew what we knew would he still wear the hat? Most on the the left won't even listen to anything anti Obama.
