Real Health Care Reform! 3 Replies

Ok, the reform for health care is very easy and does not need to be put into a 2,000 page liberty killing bill. First, tort reform. Stop these insane lawsuits. However, who are one of the biggest don…

Obama and his band of Merry Fools still don't get that we, as Americans, are ideologically opposed to the kinds of "reform" he is selling! I know from my perspective as a middle aged male with a couple health issues, and a family health history that includes cancer, it scares the heck outta me to think that the US Government could wind up holding the health care package for me in my later years! I am not afraid to die, mind you, as we all get to experience that once, but the decisions determining my health care and the level of what to treat is up to me and my doctor right now. While available choices are made via the insurance plan I have, those available choices are market, not bureaucrat, driven. Bureaucrats while be driving costs up, and coverage down. It is a surity as much as the sun rising in the East is, because it is the nature of bureaucrats to increase the levels of bureaucracy. To the bureaucrat, more bureaucracy is a positive indicator they have a fiefdom that they can keep. They care not at all what it effects in society. Each layer, as it grows, eats up the resources available to supply health care to the citizenry. That is why when it comes to anything advocated as governmental charity, there is a 85%+ administrative cost, with less than 15% going towards to intended population requiring asssstance.
Obamacare needs to die, with the plug being pulled and it buried, deep & forever. Do Not Resuscitate!

First, the Louisianna Pruchase, the, the Corn Husking, and now the Las Vegas Gamble...playing the tables with $1.5Billion of OUR dollars! Mobilize for NV! Withdraw any 3rd Party and push Reid Out!

The Fed raised the discount rate 1/4% after the market closed today, and China is dumping US Government Instruments (T-Bonds, T-Bills) at an alarming rate, thereby setting us up for hyperinflation and the market to go down. Time now to buy gold coins and silver bars and take PHYSICAL POSSESSION of them. Times are going to be tough ahead.

Question: Why are the May 4th primaries so important?
Answer: Because you can’t elect a candidate who isn’t running…

In Washington, the DC insiders are currently in control. No amount of letter writing or phone calling your representative matters right now because “we the people” are not being represented. Our representatives and senators, of both parties, have been bought and paid for by unconstitutional big money and special interest groups.

Special interest groups and big money corporations fund the campaigns of incumbents from both parties to get “special consideration” when the lobbyists come to call. In other words, our tax dollars are being used to fund a cycle of corruption and a system that ignores the will of the people.

The only solution is to clean house and to elect candidates who understand this problem and who will use the US Constitution to limit the reach of government. Lobbyists cannot influence someone who gets their campaign funds from individuals and who believes in limiting the federal government’s roll. These type candidates will actively seek to modify the federal budgeting process and the tax system to break the cycle of special interest and big money corruption.

We cannot elect such candidates if they are not on the ballot. More people need to get involved now in the vetting, endorsement process, and campaigning for Independence Caucus (IC) candidates. We must do the hard work to ensure that an IC candidate is on the ticket for each district in November. The Primary elections are coming fast and we need to get ready now as if November is here in May 4th (when primary elections are held).

The candidates who are willing to answer IC’s written vetting questions are always more likely to follow through on what they say they will do…because it’s in writing and we know what a person’s word means in politics! Of course, there are no guarantees but this increases the likelihood of them following through.

Take a look at what Jason Chaffetz (R), our first national success story from 2008, is saying and doing…he’s following through and doing what he promised. We need more like him—but it will only happen if people get involved during the primary process.

Two Democrats, Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas and Ben Nelson of Nebraska, broke with their party to vote against Craig Becker in the key procedural vote, which failed 52-33. Looks like they are trying to save their jobs. It's great to see Becker didn't get in, however Nelson and Lincoln can not be trusted and must be defeated.

Folks, we need to keep the momentum pushing us forward! Here in the State of Maryland, I am surrounded by Socialists, and well-meaning folks who believe there is nothing to fear from large government. There are few actual Conservatives here, so we in Maryland need to recruit more members, and make sure as many as can go to events and participate.

Here is a great opportunity for veterans. I am working with a non-profit to bring you a Veterans Summit in LA April 1-3 2010. Mobilize.org is teaming up with MTV and the Goldhirsch Foundation to bring together 100 veterans from all over the country to discuss the issues veterans have when transitioning from military to civilian life. Mobilize will be giving away up to $25,000 in grant money to programs, ideas, groups that seek to help with these issues. The application is due February 19th so please apply and pass on this link to any family or friends who are veterans and post on your blogs and webpages. Thank you for your help!tray=content&tid=top396&cid=3IS18http://www.mobilize.org/index.php?
